Kyokushin training promotes a high level of physical fitness including improvements in cardiovascular health, muscular strength, flexiblity, speed, agility and mind-body coordination. Training also improves self-confidence, concentration, self-esteem, encourages respect and helps reduce stress.
Kyokushin Karate has become the synthesis of traditional Japanese Karate-do and modern athletic training technology.
Classes are held Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm. Kyokushin training is ideal for men, women and children of all ages.
Kyokushin training is based on the following:
Kihon (basics)
Kata (coordinated sequence of movements)
Kumite (sparring).
Gyaku-te (hand reversals)
Goshin-jitsu (self-defense)
