KYOKUSHIN KARATE HALIFAX DARTMOUTH respect, discipline & courage

 
 
 
 
Conviniently located near Ackerley Campus at "Le Carrefour" School KYOKUSHIN KARATE HALIFAX DARTMOUTH serve the Dartmouth and Halifax community for Kyokushin Karate practitioners, beginners and advanced, alike.Members may attend as many classes as they wish. Beginners can join at any time and are encouraged to work with senior (sempai) students during classes in a mentoring environment.


Adult classes are held three times per week for 1 1/2 hours each, with classes for the whole familly as well as for Knockdown team training.  

Junior classes (7 - 12 year olds)  are held
twice a week for an hour each.

Training follows traditional and modern Kyokushin Karate methodology, focusing on

- Kihon (basics)

- Kata (coordinated sequence of movements)

- Kumite (sparring).

We also provide students with effective but simple self-defence technics. We value self respect, discipline and equality.

Since January, Halifax Dartmouth Kyokushin Kaikan Karate has started his training program in preparation for the 6th north American Championhip organised by Shihan André Gilbert, on March 28th in Montreal. Training will be hard and demanding. Cardio, stamina, conditioning, focus and strtegies will be our top priorities for the weeks to come.

It will be an important tournament for Dartmouth Dojo, therefore, support your fighters by signing the guessbook with your wishes or send me or Sensei Herb an email.

Depuis le début janvier, Halifax Dartmouth Kyokushin Kaikan Karate a débuté son programe d'entrainement en vue du 6ième Championat nord Américain organisé par Shihan André Gilbert le 28 mars à Montréal. L'entrainement sera difficile et exigeant. Cardio-vasculaire, stamina (énèrgie), conditionnement physique, techniques, stratégies et focus seront nos priorités pendant les mois à venir.
